Celebrating Pentecost is not just another event, it is the so longed for promise the apostles and disciples were waiting for to transform them from a fearful bunch to mighty men and women of God ready to do everything, to the point of death, to share the good news about Jesus.

We are so blessed to have the opportunity to be filled by the Holy Spirit and it is a wonderful privilege. However with every privilege there are responsibilities attached. Being the temples of the Holy Spirit we need to keep this temple holy for the Lord’s service. That means saying no to sin and yes to whatever pleases God. Only then we can appreciate the power of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives which will radiate on all the ones whom we will be in contact with.

Time to clean up the temple and get rid of all that filth which is choking the Holy Spirit to have HIS way in our lives.
