“Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” Acts 10:47

For Peter being Jewish it was not easy to accept the fact that Jesus brought salvation not only to the Jews but also to the Gentiles, as this was engrained in their believes since the days of Moses, but Peter sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and submission to God’s will allowed him to accept the unacceptable and was used as a tool to bring the good news to the Gentiles and for the first time portray the salvation message to the whole world.

Jesus paid to much high of a price for us to pick and choose who should come in His Kingdom. Salvation was granted for all and we are therefore called to share the good news to everyone unconditionally, allowing a platform for the Holy Spirit to work in the lives of all those who are somehow in contact with us.
