“Look now, I have two daughters who are virgins; let me, I beg of you, bring them out to you, and you can do as you please with them. But only do nothing to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.
But they said, Stand back! And they said, This fellow came in to live here temporarily, and now he presumes to be [our] judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them.” (Gen 19:8-9)

Sharing the truth of God’s word and trying to promote righteousness will feel like a massive weight of judgement on all those who are dominated by the particilar sin in question. Just like it happen with the men of Sodom.

How many times you would be sharing God’s word and you hear the words “who are you to judge me.” As the english saying goes, “do not shoot the messenger”.

To all those who ever felt judged when someone shared the Word of God with you. Have you ever thought that the person sharing cares about you so much that he/she wants to snatch you away from the eternal fire and torment of hell? Your friend is not judging you but is putting a spotlight over your life to show you the dark areas and the filth you need to get rid of, that same kind of filth which infested your friend too, but allowed the cleasing flow of the blood of Jesus to wash it clean.

Time to stop and reflect my friend because your eternity is at stake.
