For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
God’s faithfulness and grace (undeserved gift) materialised by sending His only begotten Son in our midst. His primary mission is found in John 1:29 “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” Therefore God did not just give us a set of instructions to follow but personified them and lived them and thus becoming the light of the world, which guides us to eternal life.
Jesus is much more than a Saviour. By becoming flesh he could experience much more than we will all experience in a life time. There is no temptation and consequent battling suffering that He could not help you get through it victoriously “Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” (Hebrews 2:18)
Yes Jesus is a personal Saviour able to understand your affliction, suffering, injustice wounds and most of all He is committed to heal you and make you a new creation “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Do not leave until the new year, do it now! Accept the One who made eternal life available to you and from there on you will never walk alone.
Promise kept and fulfilled from God’s side, now its you turn to make it happen. “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (James 1:22)
May you and your loved ones have a blessed Christmas and a New year full of the Lord’s joy !
