debtfree

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. (Isaiah 1:18)

I am sure that you have found yourself in a situation in which you were so much struggling that you were on the verge of giving up. Right at that instance someone comes to your rescue and with just a little help from his or her side, you were able to overcome the struggle. We do not need to think about a do or die situation but an example would be a working colleague coming to your rescue when you are struggling to meet a deadline.

Your colleague would say “Oh it’s nothing, I could have been in the the same situation and you would have done the same.” True but how grateful to your colleague and what a sense of relief you experience when such help comes from someone else?

This scripture highlights the KING of KINGS and the LORD of LORDS coming to our rescue and settling for us something which we will not only struggle with but something which we cannot achieve on our own, that is salvation.

Yes all who accept Jesus as their Saviour AND Lord over their lives will have their dept account settled and another one opened which gives a new life without an expiry date 🙂

A loving God who did this for you too. Whatever you have done in life, no matter how big or grievous it is, today your heavenly Father is giving you the opportunity to surrender all your debt to HIM and in exchange He will give you a purpose driven life which will make what glows today in your life look dim compared to the saving light God will introduce in your life through the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Time to let God settle your account !
