“Yet He knows the way I have taken; when He has tested me, I will emerge as pure gold. My feet have followed in His tracks; I have kept to His way and not turned aside.” Job 23:10-11
Seeking life direction is one of the first challenges humans face as from their puberty. The decisions we take today will form our immediate to not so immediate future. In this excerpt of scripture we are appreciating words coming from a man of God who has been experiencing unexplainable inflictions upon him, his family and possessions.
He had only one fact in life to which he held strong to, that is the assurance that God is in control. This should truly speaks volumes in our lives as Christians. We who more than Job know God’s complete salvation plan, should reflect in our lives our security in the ONE who made it possible for us to achieve eternal life.
Afflictions, trials and tribulations will come in our lives and possibly you might be passing from one right now, but Jesus the one who gave HIS life to save you promised you that He will carry your burdens (Matthew 11:28). The promise is there ready to be unleashed in our lives.
The question is, are we walk in HIS footsteps and committed to remain so?
